if you look in the LMC catalog they have a console that has speakers in it and some other nifty things i think, but they have a pic of it in their magazines and maybe on their website
My original was pretty bad so I cut a peice of luan just a little bit bigger all the way around and put it in place. I wanted to see if it would stay in place. So far it has been up for 6 months and is doing fine, no sagging. Now I am making a center console. The luan makes it easy to mount things to. I hope to get my cb,extra lights, digital clock ,switches for my fog and driving lights, and maybe two speakers. I will post some pics when I get alittle farther along. Hard to work on it in the cool. Erv
i have a home made over head console in my 79.it goes across the cab where the sun visors usually would be. it houses my stereo,my c.b radio,my amp,an auxilery switch panel, and fuse block, and 2 6 inch speakers.its hinged so it can be lowered down in the back so i can get to the inside to add wireing or replace stuff.
