i am using between 6 and 8 % between fillups
i usually fill up at the 400 to 450 mile mark of trip and thats around 1/4 to 1/3 tank so far
imo thats not going to make 7999 of range with a full def tank
And you guys have a bigger DEF tank... more DEF and less EGR make for a cleaner intake unlike mine...
Speaking of clwaner intake, watched a video on methanol injection on a 15 F250 6.7...
return on investment.. seems higher going with methanol
Les def
Cleaner tailpipe emmisions as combustion temps are down , dpf is sort of steam refreshed.
egr stays cleaner lots longer
i would much rather burn smsll amounts of methanol than the def.
as far as hp gains.. not a factor
Pics from a methanol injection install on a 2015 6.7... locations of nozzles and boost reference on a aftermarket cold CAC pipe... from a video on YouTube.
Boost reference on top and MPG nozzle on side towards front that comes on at 9lbs of boost.
Back side view of the power nozzle that comes on at 22 lbs boost...
Started watching it and taking notes. He pieced together the MPG Max kit from Snow Performance.
Mounted a 10 gallon tank in the bed. The Max kit comes with a 7 gallon tank.
