Problem with a 1982 Lincoln computer control unit
Howdy! Needing some help or advice. My son has a 1982 Lincoln Continental that has a burned up MCU micro computer control unit. He searched everywhere and can’t seem to find a donor for a new one. The numbers on it are E2AF-12A651-D2A.
i’m thinking maybe it doesn’t have to be a control unit out of a Lincoln, that may be there were some other model cars that we could search that would have one that might work. Or if anyone could help decode what the last three numbers mean. We have found control units with both sets of first numbers, but the last three are always different. any help is greatly appreciated. I usually go into the antique truck group and there’s a gentleman goes by the name numbers dummy that might know but with this being a 1982 Lincoln, I didn’t feel comfortable posting it in that group.🙄 any help or advice is greatly appreciated, thanks!
