Optima Batteries info

I walked out to start my truck this am and it was about 20 degrees out, but my truck wouldn't start and I have 2 900 cca batteries in my 93 F350. This is just the start of the cold season and Im not happy about jumping starting my truck. The batteries are still good but what are the deal with these optima batteries ??? Would they be a good choice for a replacement and what are there cca ??

Click for their website. I cannot tell you anything about them from personal expieience because I have not ever used them. I have heard though that they are great batteries but are pricey.

well .. I didn't wait long. I went down to Autozone and picked the guys brain about batteries and for size reasons I went with 2 red optimum batteries. They were like $119 a piece plus core ... so it wasn't cheap....

They are supposed to be good but I had one that totally failed without warning. Started the engine fine, 5 min later, nothing.

I have one in my truck that isnt operational yet........two in my diesel suburban, one in my mustang, one in wifeys truck, and my brother has one in his bronco.....my .02 cents= THE BEST, period

ON EDIT......I have absolutely no idea why I just replied to a post thats a year old...brain fart. sorry guys wasn't paying attention
