So I've been working on my 2000 ford excursion v10 and have a lot of trouble codes, ive been fixing her up little by little and every time i relace something another problem arises I'm lost on where i should start solving these problems i believe it has to do with the gem or pcm as it seems like a lot of malfunctioning circuits, I also have a p1000 code and a jumble of others in the photos any tips?
First thing I'd do is to have the battery checked. If its bad, that could create other electrical gremlins.
Also, I'd clean any grounds, especially the one on PCM and one on engine block.
Check main wiring harness for any cuts/scrapes/etc
Check PCM/GEM if its been wet... and the inner fuse box for corrosion or wetness? Windshield leaking on driver's side is a well known problem.
