I just picked up a 2017 Expedition at GSA auction. First thing I noticed is a grabbing/grinding from rear end when turning from a complete stop.
I changed out the rear diff fluid with 75w 85 and put in 4oz of friction modifier, which fixed about 90% of the problem, but I'm still getting some grabbing/noise from the rear end.
Any suggestions? I'm wondering if the clutches are bad or if I should try more friction modifier?
