Has anyone had issues w/t there rear end viberating or almost feels like a grinding when turning sharp at a very low speed like a parking lot or when the truck is loaded . mine has been doing it for the last year or so , my machanic said it was a pos track rear end doing it not to worry , the tires have worn more in the back but cant here them braking traction when turning like most pos tracktion rear ends .
have you changed the fluid? the rear-end requires a additive found here http://www.crcindustries.com/auto/co...?PN=402508&S=Y to allow slipage to avoid chatter, it is very cheap and easy to add it you basically add until there is no more noticed chatter.

if you haven't changed the fluid in a while i would highly recommend you do it soon, what you are describing does not sound "normal" these diffs are considered "open" type if you drove through deep enough water it can contaminate the oil and cause problems
Your rear end is not supposed to make any noise if it is something is wrong and you need a new mechanic.
With that said if you have a limited slip in your rear end it does require a special friction modifier that if left out on a fluid change will cause the clutches to make a chattering or grinding noise. So if you or someone else changed your rear end lube and the noise started after that I would stop by Ford and buy a bottle of friction modifier and pour it in. I have never seen one take more than one bottle.
I did add the additive about 8 months ago it seemed to help but didnt fix it , I have checked but never have changed it .
In that case it sounds like the clutches are starting to fall apart and causing the grinding noise. I would pull the differential cover and inspect for debris in the gear lube. If there is any it should be very easy to see.
I purchased the mobile 1 rear end fluid found here Mobil 1 Synthetic Gear Lube LS 75W-140when i did mine, it included the right amount of friction modifier included, BTW, there is a specific silicone gasket sealant found here http://www.permatex.com/products/Aut...tv_sealant.htm made for interaction with this modifier, some silicone will deteriorate in contact with the modifier and eventually leak.
