Has anyone installed an Auxbeam 8 gang switch panel on their dash to control lights and/or other auxiliary equipment? I am looking for mounting ideas for how/where to mount the switch.
you might give up the holder for trash bags, and customize a while to use that space.
That might be a bit far to reach (for me) while driving. I might have to figure out a mount on the left side of the steering wheel either just below the headlight switch or probably on the fuse panel cover.
While I didn't use that particular switch setup, I mounted a bunch of extra switches on the front of the center console. Worked out pretty well and the switches are within easy reach, yet not an eyesore. Only downside is you pretty much have to know where the switch is by tactile feel vice looking at the label (like I know if I want the front bumper lights, its the third switch in on the top row type thing), otherwise you'd have to take your eyes WAY off the road to read the switch label.
Neat setup. That cubby in the front is otherwise pretty useless IMHO.

The F-650 lower dash shown above is for the manual transmission trucks, there is another version for the auto trans 650s that has a vertical raised face that could hold that switch panel and be within reach, it is where the auto shifter would go on the bigger trucks.
I have one of these lower dash panels, but no pic handy but there is a photo of one in post #17 of this thread https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/1...nia-twist.html

It sure is! I missed that on the first read through, thanks. And if that is your rig it looks pretty sweet. I have one but never go around to doing the install, now I have a new truck and the big wagon and all of its parts will be getting sold off soon.

Tom, if you ever decide to sell your F-650 lower dash panel, I'd be interested in it.
