currently 22 degrees here.
i am running the heat pumps for main heat with furnace as backup this winter as electric is way cheaper than gas bill. 67 per month electric compared to 149 per month for gas. so if electric goes up $2 or$3 per month it will still be worth it. natural gas bill almost doubled for less gas used over the summer.

on oil for heat right now with a contract to change to propane in the spring, with a swaping of the central a/c to a heat pump. last 6 houses we put up were that combo, works great

0430 hours 18 degs here in sussex county, ski area's open making me even more thankful i don't live in vernon anymore , no dealing with crazy drivers heading for the ski area ,

boss got droned at the big truck yard last night, with twenty drones and two very large helicopters converging over the 11 acre yard at 7:30 pm.
i told him to fire up the laser range finder and point it at them, but he was afraid they would shoot back. se he called police instead.
he then got in his pickup to leave . said as soon as he turned the headlights on, they all took of at high speed.

good morning jersey, contractor redoing the desk showed up at 0815 worked till 1730 wound up 3 boards short thanks to how wood is milled today what was 18, 5/4x6x16ft became 21 with the last needing to be made into a 5/4x4x16, OHHH the fun that's going to happen ripping a 16 footer down , today after a trip to the local lowes with a utv trailer to get 3 more boards
weather wise looks like a overnight mix here, under a inch total,
coffees up,sorry no bagels or donuts , my mouth is still way to sore, OTC's are zero help for the pain,

good eve jersey snowing up here in sussex county , hopefully it changes over to rain, dentist appointment at 1500 tomorrow, can't use the 4x4 as it's in the garage loaded with stil dry old decking, of which i don't think anyone would want to pay the dump fee at the dump when it's wet so i'll be stuck driving the wife's subaru

deck repairs are done, contractor asked me to look at his classic he just got, i think it's a rare old bird, 1938 chrysler with a inline 8 , that had sat for 20 years, cranks no start ,compression test 30 pounds in all but 2 holes, which had 80, seems i'll be pulling the head ,manifolds to relap in all 32 valves , that head i'm betting will need 3 men to lift it off, any guesses on weight? inline 8 flat head ,mines at 100
