Is there a specific fuse that controls the ability of my truck to charge my rv battery when connected? Right now my truck, 2022 F450 is giving me a message that my trailer battery is not charging. Thanks.
I've been hauling my rv with this truck for almost 3 years with no problem. So I'm confident in the set up. The rv lights, and brake all work just fine, as always. It is just not charging the rv battery. Interesting that the truck knows it's not charging the battery.
RTM, it is fuse #7 in the under hood fuse box. I do not have the 7 pin 12V line connected to my batteries; no error message. For awhile, I did not have it connected to anything; now I have it powering my TPMS repeater and a fan (still no batteries). I've never seen any error messages.
Going by memory: something in the owners manual was that message popped up if the trailer battery voltage was too low. It did not show up on my 22 with the battery removed but I did not name the trailer and all that.
