Instrument Cluster swap guide
Does anyone have information on interchange information for Instrument clusters on 97 and up F-150's? I found a harley instrument cluster that I want to purchase and install in my 98 f-150 4.6.
I am hoping that it will add the tach. I understand that my truck has a manual odometer and the 99 and up have digital odo's. It looks like the odometer portion is not included in the harley cluster.
I tried to find posts about this, but couldn't, so if I am being redundant I would appreicate somone pointing me in the right place. Thanks.

I don't think yours is electrically compatible with the newer Harley. I would also recommend that you check out the eBay seller very closely, as I know there have been some scams there with these particular items.

I think you are right, I called a recycling yard today and was told that 97-98 gauges should work on my truck. 99 and up won't, I guess this is true, although I would like to hear from someone that may have got 99 and up to work.
