I remoted started my truck today in the morning (46 degrees) and no heat or defrost going. Remote start a lunch (67 degrees) and the A/C was blowing but after this update it will not turn on the heat or defrost on cold days. It use to BEFORE the update. I sure hope they push out a new one soon.

same here. No climate control function when using remote start. I guess it’s OK to get the engine started warming up, but no floor heat or defrost is dumb.

Mine is now the same. Seats and steering wheel are heating but the climate control is not working with a remote start. I also am not sure about this supplemental heater option. How can you tell if it’s even working?

Well it seems that they may have changed the parameters on when the heat comes on. I remoted started my truck today and extend the run time. So, it would now idle 30 minutes. Instead of the 15. When I got it my truck it was toasty warm with the heat blowing. It was 28 degrees outside this morning. So, maybe the heat won't come on until the engine reaches a certain temp now. Instead of just blow cold air until the truck warms up.

I did the same yesterday morning and everything worked. I meant to post here.

The thing is I have the Supplemental heater option. Shouldn’t that work as soon as it’s started since I think it is not driven off the coolant temps and is electric?

You need to set the heat to high before shutting down.
