Purchased a new to me 2004 Super Duty with a 5.4, only has 50k miles. Overall truck is in real good shape but of course it's getting older and things get worn out. I have the following codes that keep coming back:
B1342 ECU(Electronic Control Unit) OTC (Overhead Trip Computer)
The Overhead Trip Computer is definitely displaying erroneous information, MPG and Miles left to empty are not accurate. Is the B1342 detecting these issues or something larger I need to be concerned about?
P1000 On-Board Diagnostics (OBD) Systems Readiness Test Incomplete PCM (Powertrain Control Module)
P1131 Lack of HO2S11, Sensor Indicates Lean PCM (Powertrain Control Module)
Are these two codes possibly connected? I understand the P1000 is an OBD test that looks for certain indications during a drive cycle on various systems. Will a faulty O2 sensor also create P1000 OBD issues?
