Soft knock when cold

I have a soft but noticeable knock when first starting my truck (2002 7.3 powerstroke) in the mornings. It has been getting down to about 45 degrees at night recently. The knocking seemingly goes away once the truck warms up, there are no changes in the rpm or anything of that nature. Any help would be greatly appreciated, thank you!
