I have been having some blower motor issues. I have a 17 Xlt 6.2 that has manual hvac controls. There is 2v-3v going to the hvac blower motor and I have checked the 40 amp fuse under the hood and the 7.5 amp fuse in the passenger kick panel. I have also swapped relays on the blower relay under the hood. The hvac controls still light up and have power going to them. If I turn the ac off on the controls and back on you can feel the blower motor turn on for half of a second. It did this once before for a day and went back to normal but has returned. Could maybe someone point me in the right direction to look next. Thanks ahead
I changed the relays around in the engine compartment fuse pannel and the blower fan came back alive. I ordered new relays overnight on amazon and found a small amount of corrosion on the relay blade of the blower fan relay. I am thinking there is a power issue or connection issue in the fuse panel. I am going on a long haul for me this weekend 300 miles each way so I hope it will stay working. I found the relays have 2 different part numbers but the same diagram on the relay side and both are 4 blade 8t2t-148192-aa and -ab and not sure if there is a difference in them if anyone knows.
