I've got 25,000 miles on my BFG K03 that I put on my 2022 F250 7.3 non-Tremor in the fall of '23. They are just as quiet as my stock Michelins were. I rotate mine every 6,000 miles and they're wearing evenly so far, maybe 1/3 of tread worn down. I live in western Wisconsin with plenty of hills and varying weather along with driving in farm fields. I've been happy with them. Great all around tire.
Sure it helps. Every bit of info with personal experience is good.
How are they for highway noise? That's what makes me want to ditch these Goodyears more than anything.
In my opinion, they are very quiet for their size, you can hear them but its not too noticeable.
The Yokohama AT GO15s are the tire I was seriously considering to replace the stock Duratracs with. I had previously tried a set of the Duratracs on my 03 dodge 2500, and they made that truck feel like I was driving a big sloppy boat. Got those tires off the truck before 2000 miles passed.
Now on my 2024 F350, I feel the same kind of sloppiness and may end up trading off the stock Duratracks pretty soon. The Yokohama AT GO15s look like they would do just fine. And I am researching others as well. I like Toyo ATIIIs, wanting to stay with the stock tire size 285-75-18 when I do swap out tires.
After about 500 miles to break in the Yokos, I do find them to be smoother than the stock Duratracs under the same conditions. They do have less grip, though - it is easier to overpower the inside rear wheel when accelerating out of a parking lot onto a busy street. That is an acceptable tradeoff for me.
I've had good service out of the Cooper Discoverer AT on a couple of my work trucks. I didnt find them noisey and they did great in our winters ( we only get 12-14 inches of snow a year though)
I'm currently running with General Grabber A/T (35x12.5x18). I chose these because of price (wife's nephew works for a tire dealer and could get me a deal on Generals only) $727.35 for all four with free mount and balance. To be honest, I'm very impressed with the performance after three years of rain, mud, snow, highway, and a lot of dirt fields, etc. I normally will run Firestone Trans Force H/T and get 80-90k miles before they would get side wall cracking and need to be replaced. So I'm real happy with the Generals, hope this helps.
I had the ATx on my previous F150 and will put them on my 250 if I keep it that long(I hate this current truck, wife loves it so…). They’re the best tire I’ve ever ran in the snow(I’ve not ran dedicated winter tires). Mine were always very quiet for an AT but I rotated them at every oil change. They can get loud with a lack of rotations as a buddy of mine found out on his Silverado 3500, he still got 80k out of a set though.
They were definitely a favorite of mine when I was selling tires. The Conti TerrainContact AT is great if you want a highway oriented AT and the Michelin Defender LTX was my favorite HT. I believe it is now being phased out for a new Defender platinum.
Have the Goodyear Kevlar Duratracs on a 2023 F350 Tremor. 285/75-18. I've read that these start to become noisy at around the 10k mile mark and I've found that to be true in my case.
I'm considering BFG KO3. So far Tire Rack has them for the lowest price I've found. $1698 for 4 after taxes and an $80 discount.
Is anyone riding on these tires that have a few miles on them? I'm looking for something good in the snow but I want a quieter ride than the current Goodyears.
I haul an 8.5x20 enclosed trailer 5 days a week for 6 months out of the year that probably has a total weight of 9,000 or so. I also haul a 7x14 enclosed with 2 or 3 motorcycles, luggage, etc on a 1300 mile each way vacation once a year if that makes a difference. Not usually any real heavy hauling and no off roading.
Did not read whole thread.. I've switced over to Toyo AT3. Working out as a good year round, snow, winter, etc, and wearing well so far. I made a thread to review them annually in the Tire and Wheel sub forum. This will be my second winter using them. I wont bother running summer and winter tires anymore. AT technology has come a long way. I've also heard good things about the new BFG and Cooper AT3 tires, but have no personal experience with them.
I have driven trucks with those GY durtracs, very noisy. especially when tread is wearing down.
The difference in size will be unnoticeable. The 35x12.5x18 is what I have now, but almost identical in size to what you want, (you provided the metric size).

I posted this in another thread. Just my opinion, there are so many other good options apart from Goodyear. Didn't they push an anti-blue line agenda basically pushing back against law and order and telling employees who they could and could not support via clothing, hats, etc.? They retracted their stance with a little pushback, but the damage is already done, they've shown their cards. I'll never buy these brands: Goodyear, Cooper, Dunlop, Kelly, Mastercraft, Mickey Thompson, Starfire, or Roadmaster. Pick any other reputable brand and do the research on who you want to support, where you want to spend you hard earned dollar! Maybe Nitto/Toyo, BFG, General, etc. but look'em up!

I have a little less than 3k miles on my similarly sized KO3s for my ~9k lb '96 CCLB utility bed work truck and I couldn't be happier with them so far, and the tires are the quietest thing on the truck. I considered the Falken A/T4W since they're also well loved and cheaper although they're quite bit heavier in our sizes. My truck came with a brand new cheap set of 265/75R16 sailuns I barely got 25k miles out of so these are like night and day difference.
The main reason I chose the KO3s is because we put 33 inch KO2s on the wife's GMC Canyon Denali a few years ago to replace the cheap oversized 35 inch mud tires that came on it, and she said it's the only time in her life she loved a set of new tires on a vehicle. We also bought a 2017 F450 heavy truck camper on 35inch KO2s and have been happy with them too, but I have been thinking of trying the AT4W depending on the mileage I get from these since weight is similar and they're currently $324 cheaper for six 295/65R20 on discount tire, where we got ours.
Still shopping. Looking at online photos I'm staring to wonder if the Yokohama Geolander AT G015 tread is not quite aggressive enough. Sorting by price low to high on Walmart's website the Yokos are at $325 each. Then there are a couple of Maxxis that look too aggressive as far as road noise, followed by Hankook Dynapro AT2 at $331 and then Falken Wildpeak AT4W at $378. The Hankook tread pattern looks like it could strike a good balance but I know nothing about their durability or reputation. Trying to walk the tightrope between decent snow traction and highway noise.
Ford is also always advertising tire specials so I inquired with the local dealer yesterday since my truck is sitting there anyway. No response yet.
They are actually fairly tame but that was the look I was going for, see pics below. It gets old having to rotate/balance every oil change too, I am going like 9-10k on these.
Hankook AT is about the same look too, but why get those when these have that nice ‘Made in Japan’ stamp and 3 peak rating.
If you dont do the G015 I would do Cooper AT3. I run a set on a K10 factory sized, not LT, but they are pretty quiet. They look a bit more aggressive and have good reviews. You may be able to get similar rotation mileage I am getting on my G015.
