Was hoping to start a thread where people could post when they get an over the air update. Reason being, I missed one or two and would like to know when they are released. My truck sits sometimes from a few days to a few weeks in a metal building that does not get cell or wifi service. I called Ford and they show one released in August that tried to push OTA a few times and timed out. They said it will try again whenever the server pushes it again but they cannot force it out, just have to wait.
Maybe just the year and model with the update number received and any noted changes so we can keep track. I realize they don’t come at the same time and its VIN dependent but maybe it will help some of us know when to start checking every couple days maybe. Would be nice if FordPass would just give you a notification of a pending download. I will start below with the latest one I got and I appreciate the participation in advance.
I have all of my communication functions turned off on my truck, including updates. I no longer am able to use FordPass because of this... but, no big loss. I don't think I've updated Sync in about a year.
I had Ford send me a copy of all my 'collected information' a few months ago... the first report was 211 pages long.
I have a 2022 F250 6.7 Platinum and have not received a single update (OTA or otherwise) since new. I called Ford customer service and they confirmed it had never received any updates. They put a note in my "file" saying something was wrong. I guess ignorance is bliss but everything seems to work so I have no plans to change anything. I guess you don't know what you don't know.

I hadn't used the app in a while so when I opened it there was an update so I updated. Before clicking ACCEPT I started skimming thru the terms and conditions. Woah. You agree agreeing to let Ford listen to all "utterances" heard within the truck amongst a hundred other privacy violations.

I don't need the app that bad.
Wow, I thought it was just the truck telemetry they were sending to insurance companies, but you're saying they're eavesdropping on your spoken word in the vehicle.
Glad my modem has been disconnected for a year now, no use for any of their "features" that never seem to work properly anyway.

Its a strange world these days with privacy concerns. We'll never get away from devices listening to us. I know people that freak out about their vehicles, smart home devices, etc eavesdropping on them, but don't care about their cell phones that are always listening along with tracking location.
Even without one of those Drive n Save devices from State Farm or others, Ford is still selling your driving habits so if you speed all of the time you should expect higher insurance rates

I drive with the flow of traffic all the time. Sometimes that's 80mph in a 65. Im about to have another birthday and my rates just went down. Disable the modem in your truck and uninstall FordPass.
I have gotten used to the occasional Ford Pass usage. When I am on the lake, and it's 95 degrees, I start the truck when pulling up to the dock. It cools down by the time I walk over to it to drag the boat out.
What is funny is when people are selling something, and their pictures have the license plate covered, but they will drive down the interstate so a million people can see it. There is no privacy anywhere anymore.
