I'm not sure where to begin looking for the problem but my drivers seat doesn't go back into position when I get in the truck and start it. Works fine when I shut off the truck it moves backwards but when I get back in it doesn't go back into it's preprogrammed position. It does do it every now and then like if I get back in after only a couple minutes of the truck being off but most of the time it doesn't go back. Anyone have any ideas or a place to start looking. As a side note the preprogrammed buttons on the door work that is how I get the seat where it needs to be after I start it.
Did you use a different key? You can set custom settings with the mykey. I did that once for radio volume by accident and took me a week to figure out what I did. Try using your other key and see if it changes.

I accidentally grabbed my wife's keys once and I thought I was going to be crushed through the steering wheel.
I just went thru this last month and drove me nuts. Then a few weeks ago, I had a no start after sitting in my truck eating a quick sandwich. One of 2 batteries were bad. I replaced both batteries and all good now.

Supra I think you nailed it. I've noticed lately that my truck doesn't spin the starter as fast on start up and little things like the clock changes from 12hr to 24hr and my dash screen changes configurations all of which would be battery related. Nice call thanks! Guess it's time for new batteries.
Supra, you were right on the money. I replaced my less than 2 year old AGM batteries and all is well. I was told that one of my fairly new batteries was bad and the second was doing most of the work and killed it too. That's the theory from the guy at Batteries Plus who had to warranty them. I also don't think that starting and stopping the truck 10-20 times a day helps much either, but they replaced them for free so who am I to question it.
