But now you're scanner won't communicate with the PCM. Has he tried his again? If it was running fine then went down and the only difference now is the IDM then I'd be suspecting the IDM. If you replaced any other part you might swap them back if you can.
I just got the dongle to hook up forscan to my laptop and I have communication to the pcm. It must’ve been the scanner like some guys here were saying.
Clear them and see what comes back. Don't sweat the P0603 it sounds worse than it is. The 1690 is likely from the wastegate solenoid being deleted at some point. The problem child is that P0107, it's for the BARO sensor. Which happens to be an integrated component on the PCM board. Meaning you might need a new PCM. If you clear the codes and it goes away go ahead a check the BARO PID is correct for your elevation. If it's good then fingers crossed.
I don't see what year the truck is, but if it's an early 99, the BARO sensor is mounted under the driver side dashboard. 99.5+ is integrated with the PCM.
I'd send the PCM to dieseltech Chattanooga and have them test and fix it if that DTC comes back. Odd series of events but it's possible the IDM went bad and fried something in the PCM I suppose.
