Good afternoon all FTE users:
Saturday after literally resealing and overhauling my high pressure oil system had no engine start, then checked the scanned my truck and in JPRO's data monitor found that bthe CKP and CMP were asynchronous, wich meant that something was WRONG, tested my CKP and it was FINE, so started to dobut that the pcm was bad, introduced 150 hertz in the ckp cables and no speed at all so confirmed that the pcm was bad, then put 150 hertz in the ckp connector and measured it on the pcm ckp pins and fine, the resistance was 0.2 ohms, fine, so just my pcm should be bad... but, i will check the pcm power inputs if something is bad
Going to tell you to put the batteries on a charger FOR 24 hours, then start all over to see what happens. I spent too many hours without doing this - don't give me numbers, just do it and save yourself a lot of time. PCM's are pretty reliable !
That thing is DEAD: my buddy who repairs electronics told me that 2 microprocessors are BAD, he will check how much it will cost to repair, he just told me that it is better just to get a new PCM
Yes, it's dead, and i don't want to repair, excerpt if it is an AMAZING deal, if not, bye bye old PCM
Today I just put everything back (okay, not EVERYTHING), installed and guided the wiring harness, wich i unwrapped it to check for elctrical issues, will remove it again and wrap it, installed the ficm, but i will remove it to remove the injector harness and replace the X1 and X2 connectors, the electronic tech guy will call me very soon and i will pick it up
