Conversion kit for the 6.7 standard?
Who said it added power? That’s what the Derringer tuner does. But to be honest, since you yourself have not experienced the before and after with a PM,.your opinion is moot.
Everyone here has experienced the "dead pedal" feeling of the factory throttle response, and those of us who wanted better, bought PMs. Just saying.
One left me stranded on the road in a 2018 6.7l two weeks after the initial installation.
The other I got rid of as I figured out what it was.
Sorry to get ya’ll’s pantys in a wad.
Enjoy your PMs.
Out a here🤣
Sure would like a better explanation than you provided.
You're actually amusing to me. Your head's a little inflated if you believe you got anyone's panties bunched...
And what PMs? Let me know if you want to have a legitimate conversation instead of acting like a troll.
I first put a pedal commander in, was impressed with how it woke up throttle response.
For my uses it wasn't perfect..so when the pedal monster came out I got one. I think I had a pedal commander then the Derringer, then swapped commander for monster.
And yes I'm happier with it than the pedal commander. Things like low speed trim and no actuation in reverse made a big difference to me. The response curves felt a little smoother to me than the commander.
I liked it so much I got one for the wife mobile.
But not all throttle controllers are equal. I found that out. The commander is sitting on the shelf.
The Derringer I've been pretty pleased with, I normally only run it on setting 3.
The spacer to relocate the map sensor is cc coming, I have been using the s&b spacer awhile, it helps, but still a maintenance thing to clean it around oil change intervals, so hoping the banks one keeps it a little cleaner.
Of course your milage may vary, for educational purposes only, unless the contrary can be shown, etc..
