250, 350, 450, the ride is ALL in the tires. Its that cushion between the pavement and the axle that matters most. Why does an F450 ride so stiff? Steel belted sidewalls from bead to bead and 90 PSI of air pressure to keep the tires on the rim. How do you soften the ride of the F450? Replace the wheels with 20" wheels and put on LT tires with polyester belts and steel tread bands, and run them at 50 PSI. The soft sides soak up the bumps and the only harshness are those bumps that bounce the suspension. Downside, those wheels and tires cost $8,000 or more.
F250/F350, its all in the tire pressures. 350 have higher pressures for the higher GVWR. Lower the pressures, trigger the TPMS< or Forscan the TPMS to a lower trigger value and ride is as good or better than the 250. My DRW now runs 60 in the rear, 70 in the front and frankly, it rides like a caddilac compared to the exact size F450 with the heavier stiff tires. I mean it still rides like a heavy truck, but its comfortable compared to the 450. Tires made a huge difference.
This is my 2nd F450 and the first thing I did on my new one was to swap out the 19.5’s for 20” with 275-65-20 KO2’s. I now have my dream truck! Rides as good or better than my F350 CCSB SRW and will turn circles around it.
My only complaint is the top end governed at 140km/hr.

If the one I had was a 20+ with the 10 speed, I might have sprung for new wheels and tires. Problem I have is the style of the aftermarkets, at least the ones I have seen don't look good to me. I think plain Alcoa wheels look nice but the ones with crazy patterns and spiked lug covers, just don't appeal to me.
I do miss the turning, man, that truck was SO easy to park! I'm getting the hang of the new one though, I just have to make adjustments on where to put the truck before backing and remember its NOT the Flex or 450. However I never did get the hang of just pulling the F450 into a space, which means I Still have problems pulling into a space, I usually get the rear fender in the way.
How low can I go without tripping the TPMS or making changes with Forscan?
The light is very tiny and basically unnoticeable in the lower right corner of the display. I used to be paranoid about it on my previous truck but its not an issue now.

true but for me personally I like it not being on 24/7 because when it does come on I like to know there’s an issue. But that’s just my OCD partly.
so i also prefer to have it functional even if the lights not a big deal

It is still functional. And a big positive is if you are low it will display the TP as soon as you start it up. I like knowing what the TP is right off the bat.
I find using cruise control at 65 in tow/ haul mode a good towing experience, the truck picks the right gears and pulls strong, I’m pulling less weight as my trailer is around 8000 lbs but no worries here.
