2022 F450 w/ 47,000 miles. I just got into Yellowstone yesterday for a week and the engine light came on driving around the park. Code is P2B19 & Torque calls it a "Pending Fault" rather than just a "Fault". Nothing seems abnormal. No knocking or anything unusual. How much should I worry about this? There's been nothing done to the truck since dealer updates at 30k. I still need to tow outta here and it'll be several hundred miles before I get to someplace with a dealer. Thx.
There is a TSB out on it, https://static.nhtsa.gov/odi/tsbs/20...33588-0001.pdf
Probably won't keep you from using it, but would take it in asap, only a .7 hour repair, reprogram the PCM and TCM and then it will do a relearn.
I am not sure what happened to my reply, but thanks. I did find those TSB, but they seem to refer to it happening after some fuel system work, which I haven't had, so was wondering if it's somthing more serious to worry about. The engine light is still on and the P2B19 is listed as a historic fault. Truck seems fine, but will get to a dealer as soon as I can.
And, I had it in a 36k, not 30k. Just getting a few issues resolved before the 36k warranty went out. Nothing engine related though.
