Hi all, picked up a 93 IDI recently and am slowly working through her many issues. The one I'm stuck on now is that I have no reading on the Speedometer or digital odometer. I unplugged/clean the sensor where it attaches to the diff, and followed the wires all the way up to the firewall with no noted issues. Under the dash, I can't quite tell which bundle it's a part of, but I do have this connector hanging down with green and red wires that match those coming from the diff. Trouble is, I can't for the life of me tell where it's meant to go. It reaches to right around the door buzzer area, but is definitely a different connector. Anyone able to identify it from my ****ty pictures? Or can anyone tell me where else my speedo/odo might be failing? (Checked/swapped fuse 18 with known good ones, so I can cross that out). Thanks! Face on view of the connector. Has a red and a green wire going in, and two snipped reds. The abyss from whence it came. Zip tied throttle cable making an appearance.
That connector might plug into the PSOM(Programmable Speedometer/Odometer Module) module in the gauge cluster. I've dealt with a lot of issues on my '92 but this is a new one to me. It's not that hard getting at the gauge cluster but be careful when removing pieces. Things like the fuel tank selector switch need to be disconnected and the wires are short and old plastic breaks easily.

yeah that's my next guess I'm just really trying to exhaust all my options/positively Identify it as the problem before potentially breaking any old plastic. Looks like I'll have to go that route. Thanks for the reply!
