small fire
Had a small fire a few days ago, I've got most everything put back together except for two things: 1. Can anyone steer me to the part number for the EGR valve. It looks like there are a gilion of them. No labels on the one I melted. My truck is a 1986 f250 with a 351 HO, auto trans, fwd, over 8500 gvw, not high altitude. 2. Does anyone have a recycler (junk yard) that pulls and ships? I melted the box that holds the fan and heater core in the engine compartment. No AC. Any help is appreciated. TKS .

There's a small yard out in rural Oklahoma that'll ship. The place is run by two women who are just awesome. The town is pretty much the yard and the Post Office. They're happy to ship.
That said, if there's anything at Southwest Auto Salvage in Lockport IL, let me know. I need to take a run down there and can grab your parts and ship 'em to you.

I'll give them both a call Monday to see what they may have. I appreciate the offer of Lockport, but I live near Peoria and it would be a pleasant drive some week day to get away. I really appreciate the offer and let me know if I can do the same since I am retired and am available much of the time.
