Body Stripes, Decals

Hi, on my 1982 F100 I have a set of stripes that run down the side of the truck. Take a look in my gallery. Also they are on the tailgate. Does anyone know if a company makes replacement decals for my truck? Thanks Fred

There not paint, they are a plastic like tape strip. At the back of the truck, it goes into the word Explorer. The top strip is dark brown and then, a light brown, to a dark tan, to a light tan on the bottom strip. Anyone else have these on there truck? There not pinstripes, cause im know they can from the factory like that.

Um, the dealer normally puts pinstripes on. Pinstripes are plastic tape. You can buy them at auto paint stores.

As far as getting the rust removed, I can't do that til I bring my truck home in july. Its been in storage for 3 years. Only reason im asking these questions is when I do start working on it I have all my research done so I can get the parts I need. Thanks anyways locknkey, I do plan on removing the rust.

the stripe package with the model names in it usually are sold at the dealer, or some swap meet vendors will have them...

If you can't find the decals, you could either have a body shop spray them on, or a custom decal shop can make them.
