Hi fellow Ford owners! My '95 F-150 Eddie Bauer edition is in the body shop and they are unable to find a source for the pinstripe that goes under the bodyside moulding, and the eddie bauer decal for the side of the bed. Its all discontinued through Ford. So I am wondering if anyone who has painted their truck lately has a source for the stripes?
Sorry, don't know of one...far as I know it is long since discontinued. My 95 XLT is in need of some body TLC and I checked into the striping for it. My best suggestion is to find pinstriping tape that matches and do a 'layering' on it. In other words, duplicate the large tape and overlay the alternate color on it. The sizes of the tape are actually pretty standard and the factory look can be duplicated this way. Most good body shop supply places should have access to quality tape for you or check with the local 'Trimline Design' or 'Trim-all' or whoever does pinstriping stuff, etc for the new car dealers. Oh, and if you do stumble across a source for the factory stuff, let me know!!!!
Check LMC truck for the Eddie Bauer script...they may have it. Otherwise, hopefully you have one in good condition yet on the truck. If you take some pictures, do a full sized 'rubbing' of it and save a piece of it for a color match, I bet a local vinyl shop could duplicate it for you.
My bodyshop was able to duplicate the factory vinyl strip without a problem. Perfect match to the original factory stripe . I dont have an Eddie-but I have a two tone f150 that has the stripe that separates the two body colors on the side of the truck-but it is the factory two tone stript with a wide stripe on the paint and a narrow stripe placed on top. Perfect match!!
