Does anybody know how to grease the front end to a 99 Ford Ranger 4x4 XLT? My grease gun will not fit it. Do I have to lift my truck in any certain order to get it to fit or does this type of truck have those "NO LUB" needed front ends.
Thanks
Happy Holidays

when my grease gun broke i took my wifes new van to a lube shop after the oil change i have done and asked for just a lube only and they said they cant do it because they are permenent from the factory . i would take the truck to the dealership to find out if they are ok to grease them or not.
Some areas do not have the fittings as black wolf stated. They have to be replaced once they wear out. Purchase the new ones that have fittings (as most do) and to the normal lubricating as needed on intervals.
I have a '99 Ranger XLT and if you can find any grease zerks I'd like to know where because I can't find any. I believe they are all sealed but if I'm wrong let me know. I had to replace the factory tie rods on a '94 Ranger 2wd at 30K and the aftermarkets did have the grease fittings.
I believe I have grease fittings on my truck, but I cannot get the gun to fit over the fitting because the tie rods and A arm are in the way. I don't know if they are fittings or not because I can't get the stupid coupling to fit over them. Does anybody else have this problem?
