I had a front end wreck the other day. The radiator is intact as are the hoses. When the engine is cold there is a little bit of of seepage of antifreeze just under the main engine pully, (near the water pump). Not a drip more of a seepage. When I start the engine the antifreeze comes out faster. Several drips a second.
My question is twofold. I probably hit the other car at 15 miles an hour or so.
1. Could this be a cracked block?
2. Could the water pump have been damaged and if so, can I drive the truck 30 miles to my home, provided I take plenty of water with me.
If feels like I would lose about a gallon of water an hour (based upon the rate of dripping)
