havent tried it because I’ve always backed trailers up but honestly it would be kind of interesting just to try and see how it does one day when I have the time……
I use it with my 34ft fifth wheel and backup camera. It's awesome as it shows the set angle of the trailer as I turn the ****. I feel like I can focus on the mirrors and backup camera and tweak the turn easily. Then when you let go, it just keeps going perfectly straight where it's heading. It's very easy to go in a parking lot and calibrate.
I am an avid bass fisherman meaning I fish every week, usually once at least.
My 2024 F-250 came wit the back up feature and I wondered if it's worth the trouble to set that up. For those of you who use it what are your thoughts, worth the time to set it up or are you like me an already know how to back up a trailer.
It's a good option and works well but do take the time to practice manual backing for those times it may not be available.
It's just a new piece of technology, enjoy it if you can.
I love all these hard asses coming on here, "I know how to back up a trailer...."
Well, I know how to change gears, too....but every vehicle I have owned since 1990 has had an Automatic transmission.......
And that's where we differ. I still own a 5spd truck because I would have purchased a 2022 with a 10spd manual and manual transfer case if it was possible. I just wanted better cupholders but manufacturers got rid of the manual instead for overly complicated automatics. This little **** on the dash will most certainly cause some atrophy in the brain somewhere. I'm good.
Well, we agree on that! I love the 6 cup holders in the Center Console of the Super Duty, and so does my wife. On a trip, she'll have everyone of them loaded with something.......Starbucks in one, Large Diet coke in 2, (for Me and Her), a phone holder in one, etc, etc. The number of cup holders is one of the first things SHE looks at!! LOL
