I have a 23 f350 lariat diesel with the 360 camera system. I can’t seem to get a straight answer as to how they’re suppose to work. Driving down the road in city streets rear facing cameras will stay on until I slow down or stop. Occasionally (most of the time) cameras will go back to previous screen. In split screen, the bed camera will act same way. Intermittent goes back to previous screen.
While driving on the highway, rear facing cameras will stay on as long as I want. Dealer tells me the cameras aren’t suppose to function over 10mph. That doesn’t make sense since there is a split screen for the bed camera. Does anyone else have cameras that can stay on driving down the road? I’d prefer it myself to see loads I’m pulling.
One dealer has told me nothing wrong. Another says nothing should work over 10mph. Seems to me they should be able to work like an rv which video can be seen on rear camera and even side cameras driving down the road.
My is always on while driving. During driving you can switch views also. Only the rear view camera that is using for backup has a black strip in the center.
Mine will stay on on highway and can switch cameras as well. Its city driving wher the cameras have issues staying on. Dealer says they shouldn’t be on at all which doesn’t make sense to me. The stupid black box in the one camera is annoying mad supposedly can be removed with Forscan

In city driving mine is working, also even stop at red-light or traffic.
Camera in motion is something fully introduced introduced in the 23+ models.
Blackbox in the center of the screen can definitely be removed with ForScan

Having said that, it would seem my cameras are not operating correctly and the dealer and tech are incorrectly informed. They told me if they updated the cameras that I’d lose the control of them over the 10 mph threshold. Is there somewhere you found that states cameras are designed to stay on so I can show the dealer so I can get this issue addressed? Thanks
Is there anything in writing that says the cameras are to be able to stay on going down the road? I’d like to the show the dealer something so my truck can actually function the way it’s designed. Thanks.
