Anyone have issues with camera turning off while driving? Just got my 23 f350 lariat diesel cc back in July. I drive with one of my rear cameras on screen either the bed or tailgate. Intermittently the camera will switch back to CarPlay or radio which ever is on. Have to push the camera button to get it back on. My 21 stayed on til I switched them off. Been to the dealer already and of course they can’t duplicate the issue. More often than not my Ford pass won’t start the truck either though I can lock/unlock.
For what these things cost, they should at least work correctly or at least have someone that can fix it.
I have a '22 F-350 SCLB Lariat with the UTT package. Recently, I have noticed that I cannot full screen the bed cam like I used to. I get a message that the view is unavailable. Oddly though, I can side right window view the bed just fine. I'll try reconnecting my RV and see if it still malfunctions. It sounds like FORD remotely decided to remove a feature that I paid to have for the life of the truck. I much prefer to view my RV while traveling down the road from the bed vs the tailgate. I also haul stuff in the bed and want to check my load periodically..
My 2019 camera switches back to the default screen once I go over about 5-mph. I get some sort of message stating it’s a safety thing. Sure wish the bed cam could work while driving full speed. It would sure be handy to check what’s in the bed while driving.
My FIL's new '23 has the 360 cameras. You can bring them up while driving at speed to check/monitor the bed/hitch/behind you, but they're programmed to turn back off after a certain amount of time (I want to say 15 seconds or so? give or take anyway). The idea is to let you see if stuff is moving around/coming unhitched, but if you are concentrating on watching the screen you aren't paying attention to the road, and the auto-off feature is intended to limit how long you're watching behind you.
It's a safety thing. No clue if it can be altered with ForSCAN.

My 2022 used to be able to view all cameras at any speed except the nose camera. One day the cameras stopped working like they used to and my bed camera only works about 50% of the time going down the road. When it does work it will switch back to the default screen when I come to a stop or after driving for so far. Sometimes its just a blue screen. This all happened after an OTA update.
I can drive for hours on the highway and cameras stay on of i don’t stop. It’s only when I slow down to stop occasionally. It’s inconsistent. My 21 stayed on all time with no interruptions.
