Post Lighting

I was wondering if you guys could help me out. I have a heck of a time backing my truck at night with the tinted Super Cab and tinted sliding rear window. I have seen various posts about installing reverse lights on the truck to aid this. I would rather not do this. If I have to, I will. Can I change the reverse light bulbs to something brighter? While I am at it, can anyone suggest a good foglight bulb for the stock foglights? I upgraded the headlights to Sylvania Xenarc bulbs. Love Em. I am not sure exactly what bulbs are in the foglights or the reverse lights.

Thanks for your help

not sure about the type of bulb in the reverse light...

i added a set of pilot driving lights to my rear to see at night when i back up.... it lights up the night perfectly, even through my 3% limo tint!

fogs are 9005s.... i bought a set of 100w replacements and they work nicely. an upgrade to the wiring harness will make them even brighter!

Sorry, I'm not really sure what wiring harness upgrade you mean. Can you be more specific. I thought I read a thread on that, but I can't find it.

Thanks

Jimmie,
Found an article through the search engine written by Steve Delanty. I typed in fog light bulbs. Should be what you're looking for.

I learned the best way to back up is use your mirrors. If you get used to it, you'll never need to worry about having a load in the bed or anything else impeding your ability to back up.

I drive a bucket truck for the phone co. and you just can't see out of the back, so you have to use mirrors. I have since adopted it to all of my vehicles and have no trouble at all in anything.

Just my $.02

But you still need light to be able to see in the mirrors.
