I bought a 1994 F150 4wd short wheel base short bed with a 3 inch body lift. I bought the truck knowing it had been stolen and wrecked slightly. The frame seemed straight and it drove perfectly down the road. The front driver fender was bent slightly up but thought it wasn't anything I couldn't fix. There was also a popping sound when I test drove it and again thought it wasn't anything I couldn't handle. Upon further inspection the rubber for the cab mount below the driver door and the radiator support mount were broken off and the bracket under the door was bent slightly. That is where the popping sound was coming from. I decided to buy new mounts and remove the body lift in the process. I also noticed the radiator support was rusting through and bought a used one from a junk yard. Before I tore everything down the front pieces (radiator support and fenders) lined up.
I removed the radiator support and bumper. I also replaced the frame bracket for the middle cab mount. I got the new rubber mounts in and put the rear and middle mounts in and the radiator support won't line up to the fenders on either side. It seems that the cab is tilted forward. The radiator support bolt holes seem to be at least 3 inches or more off. I feel like it's something simple that I'm missing. I think it's the rubber mounts that I bought are the wrong size. Can someone give me the measurements between the cab and frame where the middle and rear cab mounts are? Also some advice would be appreciated. I may have to put some spacers in to get the right height. I can upload some photos if anyone wants any.
Was the steering column swapped out as well? Brake lines etc, never know what someone did. 3” is enough of body a lift, who knows what else they did…
Have you done any measuring on the frame, or anywhere? Which mounts were bent, the cab/rad support or the frame mounts themselves? The front fenders, doors and cab were all lined up with them bent?
Pictures. Before and after disassembly if you have them.
Thanks for replying. I got it figured out. I jacked the whole cab up and put the radiator support on the fenders. I then lowered the cab down and it seemed to all line up. I assume it was flexing too much at the middle mounts and threw the geometry off at the front. Thank again for trying to help.

What is a “middle” mount? The cab on my ‘89 only has four mounts: one under each front floor board and two toward the rear corners.

When I reassembled my truck I installed the cab on the frame. Then I installed the core support and fenders. Everything lined right up. I’d be concerned that if the cab was”tilted forward” as you mentioned then the front cab mounts are too low and now there is stress in that area where the fenders and cab are bolted together. I wasn’t there to see the problem so that’s just a guess. I guess time will tell…

Its the mount underneath the floor board. I say middle because I'm including the radiator mounts.

I thought the same thing but I loosed up the radiator support mounting bolts and shifted the support with ease so it doesn't seem like there's too much pressure there. I'm gonna drive it for a few days and see what happens.
