Does this look right?

Should there be a screen or something in the center of the bumper to protect the air-to-air cooler?

I never paid much attention but the non-ecoboost often have the license plate there. This is what was originally there on the EB I believe.

Thanks! I'll look into that. Kind of struck me as odd that there wouldn't be anything there at all. One hit from a little bird or something going down the road would destroy that cooler.

Yeah there was no "protection" in that location to prevent rocks and birds etc getting in there. If you think about it, you can get a pretty decent sized rock to the radiator on most trucks. This one looks weird, but that's how it was.

A front license plate mount blocks much of the hole without compromising cooling. A blank where the plate is now can also be had.
