Can someone confirm that my headlights are correctly aligned. The lower drivers side beam seam really high and is blinding in night fog. Also the driver and passenger side cut-offs don’t match?
pic from 15 feet.
Only you can determine that as you need to measure the height of the low-beam light and park on level ground at a set distance from a horizontal surface like a wall. When I measured mine, they were about 10” low so I adjusted mine and even though they seemed too high, I have not been flashed at night. This is how I checked mine…
As a side note, be careful when adjusting the light as the set screw will most likely not turn very easy and the whole mechanism is plastic. There are several examples on the forum of folks breaking the gears and needing to replace the light. Some folks have a dealership do the adjustment for that reason. It took me a few days using a bunch of spray and minor movements of the screw to get it to the point it would move.
