No-start advice needed
- New relay installed. I made sure to clean the ground behind it (direct to the fender) and install new screws holding it tight to the fender. Went to start her aaaaaaannnnnddddd...
- ...Nuthin'. Dammit, Jim.
- The clue bird told me to re-look at the jumped clutch safety switch. The jumper wire seemed ok, firmly inserted in the front of the plug. However...
- One of the jumped wires wasn't catching on the internal catch so was just loosely hanging around in there. It had gotten pushed to the back of the plug so no contact with the jumper wire.
- A-HA!
- I pulled the loose wire out of the plug, firmly inserted the jumper wire and...
- TALLY-fricken'-HO
- Freeda started right up! BAM!
I'll fortify the jumper situation, but for now I have a starting truck. I'll give her a few "normal" driving days until I declare her fixed, but she's running again.

I tried bumping it with the starter. The engine started and I didn't get it shut off until I ran over several cinder blocks and an oil drain pan.
I was lucky. Those switches are there for a reason.
I've known two people personally in the last 25 years, who were crushed, one by a fork truck, one by a tractor. Both died.
