Ok, so this will be a long one. I bought a 2007 F350 in December of 2021. We noticed a diesel exhaust smell in her right quick. Of course, when we bought it we were told she was perfect. Got new batteries (the only thing the seller was concerned about), and took her in to see where the exhaust was coming from. Y pipe was totally pooched and the dude had smeared a bunch of some kind of muffler putty on it. The mechanic said he replaced the y pipe and was waiting for the clamps. I picked it up in the meantime and never heard back. Months later I found out they received the clamps and sent them back, without notifying me because they "don't have room to store everyone's parts." I ended up finally getting the parts from Ford. I did the work and got some help lining everything up. While driving it to work I blew a turbo boot, the top one first. When it went it melted the whole HVAC system at least. Fixed it on the side of the highway, and then the bottom one blew. I was close, so like an IDIOT I limped it to location. Being the twit I am, and with it being 40 degrees C out I thought she was just running bad and the temperature gauge was good so... I melted a bunch of stuff including the whole heating system (whatever wasn't gotten the first time), the dash, tons of the wiring (code reader wouldn't work. all the dash messages and lights weren't working and I could hear them going off). So I got a parts truck. So far I've transferred the dash and everything I could get to while doing that job, including the dash wiring harness and heating system. Did the leaking manifold gasket on the passenger side. I've had to do the y pipe again and the clamps have been done three or four times. I've got the exhaust leak under control. Now I can't get the turn signals to work. also when I step on the brakes my trailer fault light comes on. So I figured after checking all the fuses and replacing the flasher I would do the main under the hood wiring harness. So I removed and replaced that. Now I have no turn signals and she won't start. There is power all the way along the starter wire, nut, and post with no power drop with my test light during cranking. I changed the starter with a tested one and that didn't fix it. The batteries are brand new. Also, while I was working on the dash I replaced the rad as it had a wee leak, and the degass bottle because I could, the air intake to Air-Aid. A couple of sensors because the heat busted the accelerator function. I'm going home for the day on Sat/Sun to hook up a code reader to see what it says. but I'd love some advice.
I guess I’m at a loss for how all this can happen blowing off turbo boots. I’ve never heard of such a thing. With all the wiring that’s been changed I’m not sure anybody is going to be of help. You can ask for wiring diagrams if you head over to the 6.0 section of the forum. Aside from that you need to check and double check every connection you made.

I'm not sure actually how much is due s my idiocy and how much is my terrible luck with vehicles. Myself and two others have gone over every connection. I have three times. That could explain the starter but the signals weren't working before i swapped out wiring harness, I think. I've been working at this for so long its getting a bit confused. Thanks for your input Ill move over 6.0 section.
