I got a 1994 F250 and the previous owner cut the rubber lines that come out of the rear tank sending unit. Is this an easy fix? Where do I get the lines?
Use good quality hose, as the regular SAE 30R9 is pretty good. Don't use anything lower. I actually prefer "barrier" line as it's the least permeable.
Ford used nylon line on most trucks. You can go that route, using small sections of hose to join nylon to other fittings. Best to use the "Fuel injection" clamps as opposed to standard worm clamps. The goal is to never have to crawl under there again, and keep the diesel fuel off your arms...
