Sync 4 frozen
After work today, I remote started from the app before walking out of the building, and when I got in the truck and drove off, the infotainment screen froze on the blue oval animation. I cycled the truck and it froze in the same place with the reflection animation in the same spot. I manually restarted using the power and forward button, and no luck. Multiple resets, and it freezes in exactly the same spot. It's sitting in the garage right now and I'll try it later. If it doesn't work, I guess my next step is to disconnect both batteries and reconnect to see if that helps.
Anyone experience this or have any suggestions? I've heard sometimes an OTA update can freeze up the system, and I do have OTA turned on.

2024 F450. Just got it back on the road from the AC BS. I believe there was a system update they did as part of the compressor fix, but it's been working fine for about 3 days now until this afternoon.

Just tried it again and it is not working. I'm getting really, really tired of this crap, Ford. When it works, this is one of my favorite vehicles I've owned. But this truck has less than 3000 miles on it and has had more early issues than all my previous trucks combined.
Edit: disconnecting both batteries seems to have resolved it for now. We will see how long that lasts.

Mine did the same thing about a week ago, I tried the reboot did not work, I pulled the fuse for Sync did not work, I then disconnected the batteries for about 10 minutes and the corrected the issue. I don’t believe it was an upgrade because I have automatic updates turned off.

I don't like the sync 4 in my 2024 xlt. My 2016 and 2019 lariets had synce 3 and it did a better job for my use. Not sure why or what sync 4 will do over sync 3 but I can't do commands to control the radio or music files. Which I miss. Also can't change it so I can push the tab's on the screen to chose a song while driving. I could in the previous versions.
