Avoid updating FordPass
If you use the additional features in the app, like pro power, or lighting, etc… don’t update the app on iOS. I just updated and there’s no way that I’ve found to switch back to the old experience to get those and other features back. They took the button away without adding the features to the new experience.

I don't really do much with it except remote start now and then in the winter or keep track of my remaining FordPass points.
Ford pass stopped working for me after the last update. Been meaning to stop in and see if dealer could get it working again. But I hardly ever used other than to start my truck from long distances on very cold days.

Thanks for the heads up - I won't voluntarily try the new version again since I won't be able to revert back now. When opening FordPass over the past week or so, it prompted me to try the updated version, which I did. I disliked it, rated it poorly, and gave my comments. Then I had the option to revert to the old version and I did that each time. The new version uses Google maps for the vehicle locator, and the few times I was using it was to locate other family members' cars real time as we ran errands and coordinated our days. I always liked that feature so I didn't have to text someone while they were driving, just to ask where they were or how much longer before they arrived at a meeting point etc. The new version only locates where it was at the last ping, which is limited to where the vehicle last started or parked. There was no option to sync with the vehicles real time to see their progress like the old version. The other features were limited too, and it seemed like a stripped down version compared to what it is today (which is already a stripped down version of the original). I'm disappointed in the direction they are headed.
They had the same survey and revert back option on IOS last time I tried it a couple days ago. After seeing this warning today about not having the option to revert back anymore I won't try it till I'm forced.

I tried the new Ford Pass and didn't like it. Let them know in the survey that I didn't like it, and went back to the original version. Today, the app went automatically to the new version with no choice to revert back to the original.
It gave me the option to revert back last time I used it, which I did, and left feedback on the new version. I really hope it didn't auto update and remove the ability to use the old version (find out in a couple minutes). The new version appears to be lacking details and information that the previous version did include.
Just checked, it updated with no option to go back. Now the app is nearly useless. No vehicle information suchas miles, fuel level, oil life, tire pressures, none of it. (HFM pointed out that all the vehicle info is under "vehicle health" now). I also don't see any way to add service records.

From the article above:
"Ford has added one tap vehicle controls, quicker access to key features, an enhanced charge management function for EVs, smart watch updates, a remote climate control feature specifically for Ford F-150 Lightning owners, and a streamlined design, to boot."

There’s an actual update on the App Store, so that’s the update to avoid, if possible. If you have the older app, you can switch between the two versions. They basically took away the button to switch between the two versions in the new app, and didn’t add the features from the older version.
Most people probably have their phones setup to auto update apps. If it it hasn't updated on its own yet, I would see about turning auto updates off. Too late for me, now the app has lost almost all usefulness.
I got rid of the app when it started sending driving info to my insurance company. It was nice for scheduling auto remote start in the winter and the service records. I downloaded my service records, deleted the app, deleted my Fordpass account, and did a Sync master reset. My insurance company called a few weeks later saying they would raise my rates for dropping the app. To which I responded no problem, I'll get insurance elsewhere.
