Hello, I have a 1976 Ford F-150 Custom/Explorer that my grandpa purchased brand new in 76 and I have been trying to track down the original paint color. This truck was manufactured in Ontario, Canada and the paint code is “E”. The hours of research I have done on this forum and others, google, visiting paint shops, purchased paint chips on eBay, etc. has landed me here as I can’t find Canadian usage paint codes to 100% confirm the color. I believe I have narrowed it down to Jade metallic, Jade poly, Dark Jade metallic. The exterior was repainted in 2002 with PPG jade metallic but it was not a 100% match with the original color as my family opted for less metallic at the time. The interior is all original and when I had the ashtray scanned last week the color came back “Viridian Green” but I believe that’s the color their system named it versus the name Ford gave it. I have uploaded a few pics for reference along with the paint scan info. I would appreciate any and all help with identifying the color.

Would you know if those sheets were also used for trucks produced in Canada? It seems like they used different codes or colors between US and Canada plants for 76 which has made this more difficult.
