Need to once again tap you all for information. I was wondering if anyone has the original paint code and supplier of 1977 "Candy Apple" red that Ford used on their trucks? Also could you provide me with the best supplier (if original no longer available) that is the best closest match.

Code T, Candyapple Red is one of the most popular Ford colors made. Any of the major paint suppliers, PPG, Dupont, S/W, etc, will have a formula for it in any of their current paint flavors, and all will be a good match. https://www.paintref.com/cgi-bin/pai....cgi?ppg=71528
Thank you all very much for the tremendous help. The reason I asked was because I have seen so many different shades of this paint code and there have been variations in the color. I understand that fade and such will play a factor but i have seen bright red to a deeper almost cherry tone and really am not 100% sure which is correct. I'm trying to get as close to the original factory shade as possible and just thought you all would have the answer. Regards
Red is one of the toughest colors to match, and old red is impossible. if you want the best match possible take the smallest part off the rig you can that looks like what you want and take it to PPG ,BASF or other distributor. they will have someone on staff who can do their best.
