Getting ready to paint my 1987 f150. My question is which is darker ford medium cabernet red or ford midnight canyon red ?

Very nice looking truck, my eyeballs say medium cabernet red is darker?

If you're sticking to factory color options, there should be plenty of pics of actual trucks painted in both colors if you google them. From my recollection, the medium cabernet red from that era actually looks more of a plum color in real life on a truck.

If you haven’t already, go look at actual paint samples in person. I wouldn’t trust how a color looks on a computer screen.
