several years ago i bought a 60 f100 out of a storage unit...got the title work done had planned on selling it as a project for someone else to take on...well years later apparently no one has interest in it unless i sell it for a bag of skittles so trying to figure out a game plan...do you all think i should just cut my losses and get my bag of skittles or try and make it a runner and enjoy it..I dont have a lot of time to do a rebuild so it would turn into a couple year project for me...so take a look at the pics and tell me what you think. i re-arched the front leafs and converted to disc....when i got it out of the unit it didnt have the front end...i had to make it a roller..guessing previous owner was working on restoring
If you don’t have the time, get your skittles. I’m not trying to be pessimistic, but if the time and desire aren’t there then the project won’t be fun. If it’s not fun, then it’s a waste of time and money.
The resale on these trucks isn’t what some of the others classics are getting. It also looks like the general classic market is softening. Unfortunately, not all investments pan out.
On the other hand, if you like it - it looks like a great starter truck. Build your dream and enjoy it. Engine swaps are fun. Original will always be classic.
