Looks like custom project never finished nor working.
A very common window motor: https://www.rockauto.com/en/parts/ac...dow+motor,1516
And when I look up that patent, I see it is for a bench: https://patents.justia.com/patent/D467101

there is hope the patient number is incorrect. it says 4671013 on the actual frame however the one that was used in the truck is a system under a later revision patent 4793099 showing only belts and skates so component-wise I'm 100 percent complete I've tested the motor and its in working condition belts are broken so I will have to disassemble the bottom half drill the rivets out and measure the appropriate length to cut belts and get this thing working

unfortunately, Im going on vacation later today and this will be put on pause for when I return in 2 1/2 weeks. The glass is out of a Ford Bronco tailgate glass with some altercations the tracks are out of a gm so with some know how someone could replicate this system out of these drawings these parts are easily obtainable out of AutoZone switch I found on amazon just a standard up down window switch

Ive ordered the window tapes and am sourcing a rubber elastic band for the window, more updates after some fun in the sun

The tape and the limit switches are all that used to wear out on the automatic seat belt retractors
The tape tracks were hard to find in the end
You should be able to find new track parts for your rear window on Ebay maybe
Find a Centurion or ARA upfitter
That is who used to make and install those IIRR

Thats pretty sweet. I've always thought it'd be cool to have a rear window like that.

I've seen kits for power sliders, but not the whole window.

Ford put a window like this in the Bigfoot model trucks I believe. Or a system very similar.

fisticuffs, perhaps?

The thing about the ubiquitous sliders is, they usually work. They sometimes leak, the latch breaks, but the glass doesn't drop to the bottom of the cab.

just jealous he doesn't have one.
