You must use the firing order that matches the camshaft so the 95 order in this case.

The 1995 5L engine is most likely using Mass Airflow (MAF) as well as sequential fuel injection and the ignition is Computer Controlled Dwell (CCD). The 1993 harness is for Speed Density fuel injection and the older Push-Start ignition. There are multiple wiring differences. Why are you wanting to use the 1993 harness?

I bought this 1995 and am it is a project for me. The top engine wiring harness was butchered and in bad shape from the previous owner. Did not want to go through the headache of splicing wires to get it back to normal mainly because of the condition that it was in. Was at the junky and came across a 93 that had the harness in tact and grabbed it. Would def prefer a 95 harness but as you may know these trucks are more of a rarity nowadays and barely at any junkyard near me. And so that is why I am using this 93 harness. The differences that I can physically see between the original 95 harness and this 93 is that this 93 one does not have connector for the switch that goes onto the AC line at the compressor. Which is an issue I will have to figure out later my priority right now is getting the truck to run with this harness.

you are correct my 95 is a MAF engine

Ps thanks to you guys for the taking time to help me out

The ‘93 used R-12 refrigerant so that is why there is no connector for a high pressure switch.

That engine harness is missing 6 injector wires, 4 MAF meter wires and the connector, and the wiring and connectors for the remote mount ignition module and matching distributor.. another 6 wires and 2 connectors. It may be easier to repair the original engine harness.
