ignition switch sticking
My ignition switch is stiff to turn when in the dash out of the dash it is fine. If I put pressure behind it while in the dash it works and the keys turns easy. What may be the problem? It is all new parts from lmc truck

Replace it, they’re cheap.NOS are sometimes available from eBay, or else from PartsVoice.

So is most things from lmc truck trash and where would you get it from if I can not find nos.

Usually plenty of old stock on e-bay, C7UZ-11572, Motorcraft SW583, these will have the extra connector for a brake warning light other than that they are identical to the original.
