Put a replacement 300 in a few weeks ago and seen that i needed a exhaust gasket, pulled the intake exhaust and seen all this gunk on the intake valves. should I bother trying to clean this up and if so what would be the best way? i have another engine that I will be rebuilding when the budget is right but will be running this one for the foreseeable future.
How many miles on this motor?
What did it come out of, year?
Are all the intake valves like that or just that one?
If just that one what hole is it where dose the PCV ties into the intake?
I am thinking either blow by or valve seals as I cant see it being much more?
You may be rebuilding that other motor sooner than later LOL

eh, I picked around at it for a bit and decided to leave it be. If Id have replaced that gasket when the engine was still out, as I should have, Id maybe had cleaned em up.
