I took the intake bolt out since it looked like it was a pain. It was easy to get out I just fished it out from below with a magnet. But there’s not a gap big enough to get the stupid torx bolt back into its hole. How do I get it in? The stupid EGR nut is stuck so I can’t reseal the intake today so I gotta put it back together
it’s the head of the bolt that isn’t fitting through the gap.
I agree the gap in the manifold should be bigger, but you'll probably just have to reverse the procedure you used to get it out. Or, if you have someone, like a child, with small hands, they may be able to get it into place.
Here's what i used to remove and install that bolt:
It's magnetized so it could hold the bolt on extraction and installation. I used a 1/4" drive ratchet with 1/4" socket but you might use a drill or impact driver.
